Dear Senators Rubio, Scott, and McConnell,

I am a constituent in Ocala, FL, and I have been reading the news about impeachment in several news sources including the available public documents. I care about the impeachment proceedings because they are a part of the rule of law in our government, and failing to follow the rule of law is a threat to all that we hold dear in this nation.

I believe the best way forward is to hold a complete and thorough trial in the Senate where members can consider the sworn testimony of pertinent witnesses including the four called by the House who refused to testify at the direction of the president. It is the Constitutional duty of the Senate to hold a fair and impartial trial on the articles of impeachment, NOT to act as an agent to carry out the will of the president. I agree with the enclosed statement on impeachment by Mormon Women for Ethical Government. Thank you for standing with the United States of America in order to best represent her citizens. Country over party.

Sincerely,
Teresa (Florida)
